Connecticut Council for Philanthropy The association for grantmakers for the state. Their website, especially the "links" page is very useful for local, regional and national contacts in the nonprofit field.
Hartford Foundation for Public Giving The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is the community foundation for the Greater Hartford region. This is a direct link to the Foundation's "Links" page, which lists many helpful organizations, such as Board Cafe and the Connecticut Association of Nonprofits, home of the Statewide Leave a Legacy program. The Harford Foundation also maintains a very helpful online database of consultants who work for nonprofits.
